Tell EPA to clean up trucks!

A third of U.S. global warming pollution comes from transportation. Big trucks represent an opportunity to clean that pollution up. Although they make up only 7 percent of the traffic on our roads, medium-and heavy-duty vehicles produce more than a quarter of on-road global warming pollution.

The U.S Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic & Safety Administration have proposed a new standard that will make trucks go further on a gallon of diesel. This is an important opportunity to prevent pollution, help America get off of oil, and save us all money. Tell Transportation Secretary Foxx and EPA Administrator McCarthy to make the final rule as strong as possible.
